As is our annual tradition, H&H IP LAW conducts training sessions on behalf of our clients, who are brand holders. These sessions focus on the theme « Fight against counterfeiting – means of detection of counterfeit goods » and are specifically organized for customs officers. This year, the training has been extended to over 400 customs officers operating in the major ports of Morocco, including Casablanca and Tangier cities.
Training sessions conducted by brand holders for customs officers play a crucial role in addressing various aspects of intellectual property rights (IPR) enforcement, ensuring effective collaboration between brand owners and customs authorities.
– Customs officers are on the front lines of border control, and training equips them with the knowledge and skills needed to identify counterfeit goods. This includes understanding the distinctive features of authentic products and recognizing common counterfeiting methods.
