2009 The first GI- DO requests Within the framework of the national system for the protection of Geographical Indications (GI’s) and Designations of Origin (DO's), the first two applications were filed before the Moroccan Ministry of Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries, in accordance with Law 25-06 and the law 17/97 relating to the protection of industrial property.
